Proper way to change terminal resolution in Ubuntu Server

I solved it by editing “/etc/default/grub” file and changing GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT = “splash vga=789” and then rebooting with “sudo reboot“. It will reboot to 789 horizontal resolution.

Other way of doing it is SSH’ing with “ssh username@ip-address
